The thorny issue of fast land sale in Arizona to help pay for a business venture has brought in a new player: Land Boss, a company that offers cash for property. Whether you own a vacant piece of land or farmland that has lost value, a quick sale may be the best way to get the cash you need. Here’s what you need to know.
Fast Land Sale in Arizona with Land Boss
The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture’s sale of 6,300 acres of timber and farmland has drawn scrutiny from state lawmakers and the FBI. The deal with Lobo Farms of Fisher (Poinsett County) undervalued the property, Sen. Ron Caldwell said last week, and a firm that won a bid to broker the sale — Lile Real Estate Inc. of Little Rock — appears to have been coached on how to shape its proposal, according to emails obtained by Arkansas Business. The UA System defended the sale, saying it followed its policy and Arkansas law.
The cast of characters in this low-key crime drama is largely made up of familiar actors doing what they do well. Clark Duke, who plays a drug-runner called Kyle with a co-star named Swin, is an especially solid presence. He and Swin are not as good at their seedy jobs as they think, but they do a fine job of getting through the plot without much tension. The supporting players, including John Malkovich as a park ranger, Vince Vaughn as Frog, a junk store proprietor with a great collection of shirts, and Michael Kenneth Williams as Almond, another link in the chain, are also solid.
